Play and Do 3. Activity Book es un cuaderno de trabajo orientado a la enseñanza del idioma inglés para alumnos mexicanos.
El material se estructura alrededor de las prácticas sociales del lenguaje que se proponen para cada una de las cinco unidades didácticas y pretende que los niños adquieran paulatinamente las habilidades y competencias necesarias para aprender un segundo idioma de manera significativa, de acuerdo con su proceso cognitivo y nivel escolar.
El niño adquiere el conocimiento de una lengua extranjera por medio de un proceso natural y lúdico mediante el uso de sus habilidades y de la participación colectiva.
La estructura de Play and Do 3. Activity Book es sencilla y dinámica; está basada en el enfoque por competencias e incluye historias, actividades orales, diálogos, canciones,juegos y otras tareas que fomentan la integración de habilidades cognitivas y la interacción del niño con el mundo que lo rodea.
